What's the sausage on pizza called?

There's something about pizza sausages and I have been craving that taste specifically. Is there a specific term for it? I have been thinking about it a lot so I tried some Italian sweet and mild from my local market. They don't taste like that. Please, any leads would do. I go crazy when I can't figure out how to make what I've been craving.

For that classic taste look for 'bulk hot Italian' sausage with a real punch of fennel or ask a good local butcher for their best pizza style sausage that is heavy on the fennel.

I agree with @im-frm-chicago0201 it looks like you're aiming for that classic pizza sausage. Probably those Italian fennel-spiced pork sausages. If his keyword doesn't work, try looking for "sweet Italian sausage" with fennel seeds... Good luck. :)

Hear hear, the key is the blend, not just "Italian sausage." , so look for bulk pizza topping sausage at a butcher or restaurant supply if you can
