Okay, I know it sounds kinda wrong—but hear me out.
Pickles are everywhere lately. Pickle flavored chips, salsa, and even saw some weird pickle dip at Costco. I was at the NC State fair last October, and it even had a pickle doughnut! I did get it...dill and donuts DO NOT GO TOGETHER!
So I figured… why not try 'em on a pizza? I did buy the pickle salsa from Costco, it was alright, I would not seek it out again.
Thinking something like this for Friday pizza night:

Home-made ranch makes the most sense in my opinion....but I'm open to any feedback some of you more experienced folks might have!

- Base: Thin layer of garlic cream sauce (think almost a taziki type sauce, dill, garlic)
- Cheese: Shredded mozz (light on the spread here)
- Pickles: Dill slices (dry 'em first so it's not a soggy mess, maybe the really thin ones like McDonald's pickles)
- Toppings: Maybe a few red onions or bacon crumbles
- After bake: Drizzle with ranch or hot honey (still torn)
