Greek style pizza

I've been seeing mentions of greek style pizza lately, but I'm a bit confused about what actually makes it "greek"? because from what I gather, it's thicker than regular pizza, kind of pan baked, and maybe a bit oily? I've never tried making it myself, so I'm not sure how it's supposed to come out.
If anyone done it here, can you share the recipe or something and yeah also, are there any special tricks with the pan or oven that I should know about before attempting this?

I have a Greek friend, and she said that the secret to Greek style pizza is the pan itself and how you use it.
You need a shallow, round, dark metal pan (like a cake or pie pan) that's been well seasoned or oiled.
The key is to coat the bottom of the pan with a generous amount of olive oil. This is what gives it that signature slightly fried, crispy bottom and a golden-brown crust all the way to the edge.
