New skills for the new year?

I’m trying to pick a skill to focus on this 2026. Last year I tried learning photography, but I spent more time cleaning smudges off the lens than actually taking pictures. This year I want to finally get the hang of manual settings. Anyone else chasing a new skill for 2026?

Hello @goldie! Manual mode is a great 2026 goal. Once ISO, shutter speed, and aperture click, everything gets easier. I’m thinking of learning basic woodworking this year, mostly so I can finally fix things instead of just Googling “why is this wobbly.”
