I'm so excited that I just got a Breville electric pizza oven for my apartment! So what else is left to do? Of course, I made a few pizzas but the cheese keeps sliding off the crust while it’s baking! I’m using fresh mozzarella and a thin crust. Could the oven angle or heat be causing this? Thanks everyone!

It has nothing to do with the oven angle. Fresh mozzarella is too wet for a thin crust in that oven.
It creates a steam when it bakes so that makes the cheese slide right off.
I suggest you switch to low-moisture, whole-milk mozzarella.
But if you really want to use fresh, you can try to tear it up and press it aggressively between several paper towels to soak up all the excess water before it goes on the pizza.

Thanks for the tip! I’ve been trying to recreate that classic Neapolitan-style pizza at home using fresh mozzarella, but yeah, my cheese keeps sliding off too. I didn’t realize the moisture was causing steam. If I press it with paper towels, does it still melt nicely? And does the type of dough or sauce affect how well the cheese stays put?

yep,

That Breville oven is a beast and puts out too much heat for wet cheese. Try letting your sauce cook down more to reduce moisture, and make sure your cheese is ice cold when it goes on the pie.
